Importing DOCX Files

Use DOCX import for normal Word documents (not CAT tool bilingual formats).

Import steps

1. Go to File → Import → DOCX...
2. Select your .docx file
3. Choose the source and target languages when prompted
4. The document is segmented into rows in the translation grid

Tips

• If you are working with memoQ/Trados/Phrase/CafeTran, prefer the specific CAT workflow import instead of generic DOCX.
• If your document contains formatting (bold/italic/underline), keep tags intact when editing.
